What is the maximum limit for trade license that can be owned?
There is no limit for number of trade license that UAE nationals and expats can own.
Can I select any trade name for my business?
Yes, you can select but it should be according to the terms mentioned below.
  • The trade name must be followed by abbreviation of the legal form (i.e. the legal form of the company), for example (LLC).
  • The trade name must not include improper words and must not violate the public sense.
  • The trade name must be consistent with the economic activity performed.
  • The trade name must not include the names of Almighty Allah, the names of government authorities, or the names or logos of third parties.
  • The trade name must be available and not registered by another company.
  • The trade name is approved by the Department of Economic Development and the trademark is approved by the Ministry of Economy.
What happens if I don’t renew my trade license?
Failing to renew your trade license can lead to the penalties. According to DED laws, a company that conducts its business without a valid business license will face a fine of AED 5000 and an additional AED 250 if the license is not renewed before it is expired.
How often does a trade license need to be renewed?
Trade license is valid for one year and every year it should be renew to continue your activities in UAE.

It will be removed carefully so that the certificate does not get damaged. Certificate attestation stamps will be applied to the non-laminated area. We urge you to avoid laminating your certificates since different countries require different attestation on the certificates, and every time you remove lamination from them, you risk damaging them.
Is there a collection and delivery service available?

Emirates ID Typing

What is the Emirates EID?

The type of profession is no longer a condition for an expatriate worker to be able to sponsor his family visas.
Is it possible for an expat to sponsor his stepchildren?
An expatriate resident can sponsor his stepchildren, subject to GDRFA’s conditions which include a deposit for each child and a written no-objection certificate from the biological parent.
What will happen if the visa of the sponsoring family member is canceled?
The family’s residence permits are linked to the residence permit of the sponsoring family member. If the sponsoring family member’s visa is cancelled, it requires cancellation of the visas of the dependents.
Dependents are granted a 6-month grace period from the date of expiry or cancellation of their visas to obtain a new residence permit. If the sponsor fails to renew or cancel the visa of his dependents, he could be liable to pay a fine.

Freelance Visa

Is freelance legal in UAE?

Is medical test mandatory for visa?
Whether applying for a residency visa or a work permit, all visa applicants will require a thorough medical exam, along with a series of blood tests before being granted their visa. Unusually, these exams and tests must all take place upon arrival to the UAE in a Government Medical Facility.

Student Visa

Can I work in the UAE with a Student Visa?
If you want to work in the UAE with student visa, you must need to obtain a UAE Work Permit. Furthermore, you are not allowed to work full-time: you are only allowed to work four consecutive hours.
Do I Need a Student Visa if I’m already in the UAE with a Family Visa?
No it’s not required if you are already under your parent’s sponsorship or having a residence visa in UAE.
